Feeding the Animals
Our current feed and supplies budget is about $6,000 per month. This includes grain for each type of animal, three kinds of hay, straw, bedding, fresh produce, supplements, peanuts and other treats. π
Sanctuary Operations
Our operating budget runs about $30,000 each month for animal caretaker and facilities salaries, utilities, gravel, fencing upkeep, equipment rentals, gas, and general maintenance costs. π
Veterinary Care
Our veterinarian team visit the sanctuary monthly for heard wellness checks, hoof trims, supplements, medicine, and are on call for emergencies. Costs with minor emergencies and urgent care average $7,000 per month. π
General Funding
Donate towards general funds to pay for our highest needs as they continuously change and support our total average monthly costs of $43,000.π

We have many different positions available and would love to see you. Every job includes making time for animal loves.
Stall Mucking
Stall mucking includes lots of poo shoveling! All different kinds! Driving the four-wheel Gator, loading and delivering to sanctuary compost area. Mucking includes stall refreshes, overhauls, adding straw, water and hay.
Barn Cleaning
Main barn cleaning includes wiping down surfaces, cleaning buckets, food bowls, fridges, medical room and when we have animals temporarily living under barn care, lots of extra cleaning.
Food Prep
Getting donated produce ready for the animals. Chopping and blending pig food and freezing any extras. Prepping grain, snacks, handing out any special grocery treats.
Building Projects
We have all kinds of structures weβd love to have build for animal sleeping, eating, playing, plus we need lots of benches, stools and tables made out of our propertyβs timber.
