Feeding the Animals
Our current feed budget is about $5,000 per month. This includes grain for each type of animal, three kinds of hay, straw, fresh produce, peanuts and other treats. 💕
Sanctuary Operations
Our operating budget runs about $25,000 each month for animal caretaker and facilities salaries, plus utilities, gravel, fencing upkeep, equipment rentals, gas, and general maintenance costs. 💘
Veterinary Care
Our veterinarian team visit the sanctuary monthly for heard wellness checks, hoof trims, supplements, medicine, and are on call for emergencies. Costs with minor emergencies and urgent care average $5,000 per month. 💗
General Funding
Donate towards general funds to pay for our highest needs as they continuously change.💞
Volunteer
We have lots of ways you can spend an hour or a day at the sanctuary.
Animal visiting, animal brushing, stall cleaning, poo pickup (there’s a lot!) chopping veggies for our pig friends, pasture maintenance, trail maintenance, and lots more! Please send us an email if you’d like to help out.
